News Update - October 2002
We have had a busy fall at Maplelag hosting various retreats, conferences
and weddings. This past week also saw the peak of fall color. With Maplelag
being situated in a mixed hardwoods forest, we have some wonderful colors
the end of September. Our peak was a little late this year with the leaves
coming to full circle on October 1st. As of October 9th, 75% of the trees
were still holding leaves around the lodge and on the trails the percentage
is closer to 90%. Scroll down for photos of fall color and a few photos
of the other activities this past fall. (Fall color photos taken between
September 27th and October 2nd, 2002.
